COURSE SUMMARY

This course aims to provide you with a brief orientation on the concepts and benefits of a Learning Management System and the course development process. This will tackle the different parts and functions of your LMS. Throughout the 5-day period of this training, we will also be sharing with you the best practices surrounding the online course development discipline as we demonstrate the course creation process using the tools readily available within the DSWL LMS. After this, we will be guiding you on basic administrative and report generation functions to help you with your organizational goals. As an added bonus, we will also be sharing with you some free and easy-to-use tools and resources that can be used alongside your LMS to aid you with your course development process.

 LEARNING OBJECTIVES

 The participant of the learning sessions will be able to:
  1. Have a functional understanding of an LMS and the course development process;
  2. Appreciate the key areas/interfaces of the DSWD LMS and their purpose;
  3. Learn the essentials and practical steps in creating e-Learning courses and activities/resources/content using the DSWD LMS;
  4. Familiarize themselves with the available features/functionalities for course management, participant management, performance monitoring, and reports in the DSWD LMS; and
  5. Familiarize themselves with the basics of the DSWD LMS site administration interfaces, functions, and features.
