This course provides an overview of the Service Delivery Capacity Assessment conducted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) every three years. Designed for Local Government Unit (LGU) representatives and stakeholders, the course focuses on understanding the assessment's objectives, methodology, and importance in evaluating LGU capacity to manage Social Welfare and Development (SWD) programs and services effectively. Participants will gain insights into the assessment framework, the tools used, and strategies for improving service delivery capacity based on findings. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge to engage in the assessment process and utilize results to enhance SWD program implementation.

(SAMPLE ONLY)Certificate Course on Disaster Response: Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) and Internally Displaced Person Protection (IDPP)
The training on CCCM is very relevant to the LGUs who are the frontliner in implementing this at the local level. It is important that they get updates on the implementation of CCCM to be aligned with international standards on disaster response. Specifically, the Local Social Welfare and Development Office social workers will benefit from this training since they are the camp managers in evacuation centers. This training will enhance their competencies as camp managers.

SLP 101
In this course, you will be introduced to the 5-Phase Sustainability Plan as the primary framework of the program implementation. This also includes the processes that SLP Program Participants have to go through to build their capability of managing the livelihood they have engaged in.

Training on Social Work Case Management for Adoption and Alternative Child Care Cases
The training aims to increase the knowledge and develop further the skills of Social Workers on Adoption be it local and inter-country adoption and alternative child care following the provision of the new Adoption law under the National Authority on Child Care.
This training is intended for Registered Social Workers, whose functions are Social Welfare Officer I, II, and Social Welfare Officer III of the Local Government Units, and the Centers/Residential Care Facilities of the DSWD who are front liners of social work case management of Adoption cases.
Program Objective: By the end of the course, the Social Workers will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to demonstrate effective social work case management in adoption and alternative child care, fostering positive outcomes for individuals and families involved.
Enabling Objectives: Specifically, by the end of the activity, the participants will be able to:
1. Review their functions in the case management of adoption and alternative child care cases if aligned with the concepts and phases of case management;
2. Identify the foundational principles of social work case management, emphasizing their significance in adoption and alternative child care cases;
Identify and describe the different theories they can use in the social work case management of Adoption Cases;

4Ps 101 Intermediate Module: 4Ps Organizational Structure
4Ps 101 serves as an alternative orientation and learning platform for program applicants, partners, newly-hired staff and existing staff seeking to expand their knowledge on the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
The 4Ps 101 Intermediate Module is meant to provide an overview on the different 4Ps program components. This e-course specifically aims for learners to understand the structure of the 4Ps NPMO and RPMO and determine the roles and responsibilities of their respective division/unit/section in the organization structure.

Social Work Practice with Individuals, Families, and Small Groups
In this social science course, you will learn how social workers in the Philippines work in partnership with individuals, families and small groups to enhance well-being, build on strengths and activate resources to support change efforts.
